1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Gradus (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Gradus is an AI-powered exam preparation tool. It provides practice questions, study plans, AI tutoring, flashcards, and mock exams for ACCA and other professional exams. Gradus is NOT a substitute for professional tuition and does NOT guarantee exam success.

3. ACCA Disclaimer

Gradus is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). ACCA is a registered trademark of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. All ACCA content in Gradus is original and does not reproduce copyrighted exam materials.

4. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • One account per person — sharing accounts is not permitted
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service

5. AI-Generated Content

The AI Tutor and some study content is generated using artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). While we verify content for accuracy, AI responses may occasionally contain errors. Always cross-reference with official ACCA study materials and standards for critical exam preparation.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Share, redistribute, or resell Gradus content
  • Attempt to extract or scrape content programmatically
  • Use the AI Tutor for purposes other than exam preparation
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in Gradus is owned by Gradus or its licensors. Practice questions, explanations, and study materials are original works. You retain ownership of your personal study data (quiz answers, notes, study logs).

8. Payments & Refunds

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase if you have not used more than 20% of the paid features.

9. Limitation of Liability

Gradus is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for exam results, lost study data, or any indirect damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
